Knowledge is power! Pray. Read. Study.
Prayer
Prayer is simply having a conversation with God. It is not complicated nor is it something of which to fear. There is no “right way” nor “wrong way” to pray. Think of it as talking to someone you want to get to know, and for them to know you. It is talking to someone you trust like a parent, friend, or even a counselor like me. Our Father in heaven wants us to come to Him, to talk and seek Him.
The Word is FULL of scriptures regarding prayer!!
Jeremiah 29:12 says, “Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, “Pray without ceasing”.
Bible
The Bible is a single account of God’s creation of the world and all it contains, It is an account of God’s creation of man. The Bible reveals who God is and how we can get to know Him. The Bible speaks to us giving wisdom, teaching and instruction in living a life pleasing unto the Lord. The Bible provides hope, comfort and knowledge to those who seek it. The Good Book is the record of God’s sacrifice of His only son, Jesus Christ, so that we may have salvation and live eternally with Him.
The Bible, God’s Word, is inspired by God, penned by man. It is both historical and spiritual. It is our road map to a life pleasing unto God.
